This debut ranks as the third-highest of the year, just behind Inside Out 2 with $154 million and Dune: Part Two with $82 million. Despicable Me 4 came in second place, earning $23 million, bringing its total earnings to $259 million domestically and $574 million worldwide. Inside Out 2 claimed the third spot with $12.7 million, inching close to the $600 million mark in North America. On a global scale, it has become the second-highest-grossing animated film, accumulating $1.443 billion. It will soon surpass Frozen 2 to claim the top spot.
